The Martian (2015)

Amid a kept an eye on mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney is assumed dead after a wild tempest and abandoned by his team. However, Watney has survived and gets himself stranded and alone on the threatening planet. With just small supplies, he must draw upon his inventiveness, mind and soul to subsist and figure out how to motion to Earth that he is alive.
